The journalist and director of the ACM Foundation, Lola Bañon, receives an Amnesty International Human Rights Defense Recognition
The journalist and director of the Mediterranean Citizens’ Assembly Foundation, Lola Bañon, receives a recognition by an Amnesty International for Human Rights Defense. Doctor in Communication, Lola Bañon is a journalist, professor of journalism at the University of Valencia and an analyst specializing in the Middle East and the Mediterranean. Her personal and professional career has always been linked to the defense and promotion of human rights, especially in his work as a journalist in various areas of conflict, and more specifically in the Palestinian territories.
The ACM Foundation celebrates this recognition convinced to continue forging paths to overcome the current situation of instability in the Mediterranean, both in terms of social, cultural, environmental and human rights policies, especially of women and young people.
