The president of the ACM Foundation, Vicent Garcés, met with the Secretary General of the Union for the Mediterranean, Fathallah Sijilmassi and the Head of the Civil Society of the organization, Laurence Païs in Barcelona last Thursday, January 25 at the permanent headquarters of the UfM secretariat. The purpose of this institutional visit has been to study and deepen the lines of collaboration, especially in the field of youth and gender in the Mediterranean.
Both the UfM and the FACM share fundamental axes of action in terms of promoting the role of youth in the Mediterranean, the empowerment of women, the role of citizens, and the defense and promotion of cultural and environmental diversity in the region. This meeting reaffirms an already consolidated the relationship between the FACM and the UfM.
